1. Vehicle Hire Overview

Fox Red Campers offers fully equipped campervans for hire, designed for off-grid adventures and exploring Scotland. All our vehicles are modern, comfortable, and maintained to high standards. Specific features may vary between vehicles, full details for each campervan are available on our website and booking system.

2. Booking & Payment

A 20% deposit is required to secure bookings made more than 30 days before the hire start date. Bookings made within 30 days of the hire start date must be paid in full at the time of booking. All bookings must be made through our online booking system, accessible via the booking buttons and links on our website.

3. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is payable on the day of collection. The deposit amount will be confirmed prior to hire. The deposit will be refunded in full within 5 working days of return, provided the vehicle is returned:

• Undamaged (inside and out)
• With no missing items
• Clean and tidy
• With fuel levels restored to the same level as on collection
• With the toilet cassette emptied

4. Driver Requirements

All drivers must:

• Be aged between 25 and 75
• Hold a full UK or EU driving licence
• Have no more than 6 penalty points, with a maximum of 2 fault incidents
• Have held a full licence for at least 2 years

5. Insurance & Breakdown Cover

All hires include fully comprehensive insurance for the named driver(s). UK roadside assistance and breakdown cover are also included. Additional drivers can be added at an extra cost and must meet the same requirements.

6. Pickup & Return

Collection and return times will be agreed in advance. Late returns may incur additional charges. Vehicles must be returned in a clean condition, with all equipment intact and waste facilities emptied (if applicable).

7. Cancellation Policy

We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.

• More than 30 days before hire: 20% deposit retained
• 15 to 30 days before hire: 50% of hire fee retained
• Less than 14 days before hire: 100% of hire fee retained

8. Use of Vehicle

Our campervans are intended for use within the UK. Vehicles must not be taken outside the UK without written permission. No smoking or vaping is permitted in any vehicle. Pets may be allowed in some vehicles, subject to prior agreement. Hirers are responsible for any fines, penalties, or tolls incurred during the hire period.

9. Equipment & Optional Extras

Each vehicle comes with essential equipment for your journey. Optional extras such as camping chairs or BBQs may be available, please request these at the time of booking. Lost or damaged equipment may result in additional charges.

10. Liability & Responsibilities

The hirer is responsible for the vehicle during the hire period. Insurance covers most incidents, but any damage, loss, or theft not covered by insurance will be the hirer's responsibility. Fox Red Campers accepts no liability for personal injury or loss of belongings during the hire period.
